FRANCIS A. D'AMBROSIO, Jr., M.D.

Francis A. D'Ambrosio, Jr., M.D. is the Medical Director of D'Ambrosio Eye Care. Dr. D'Ambrosio is an internationally recognized expert in ophthalmic microsurgery. Dr. D'Ambrosio received his undergraduate degree from Boston College and his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts followed by his specialized eye residency at SUNY ­ Buffalo in New York. He has been in private practice since 1984.

Dr. D'Ambrosio has performed thousands of ophthalmic microsurgical procedures and has used lasers in ophthalmic microsurgery and treatment since 1984. He has been performing microsurgery to correct common vision problems such as nearsightedness and astigmatism since 1992 and has been performing laser vision correction for nearsightedness since 1995.

Dr. D'Ambrosio is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ASCRS), the International Society of Refractive Surgery (ISRS), the Massachusetts Medical Society, and the Pan American Society of Ophthalmology.
