Satish S. Modi, M.D., F.R.C.S.

Satish Modi, M.D. has been providing
medical and surgical eyecare to residents of the Hudson Valley
for more than 25 years. Dr. Modi's interests as an ophthalmic
surgeon have lead him to specialize in cataract and refractive
surgery and Laser Vision Correction. He began performing refractive
surgery for nearsightedness in the 1980s and upon the FDA endorsing
the safety, efficacy and predictability of Laser Vision Correction,
he incorporated the use of the excimer laser as his preferred
technique for correcting nearsightedness, farsightedness and
astigmatism.
Dr. Modi completed his clinical
training in ophthalmology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine
where he continues to serve as an Assistant Clinical Professor
of Ophthalmology. In addition to being Board Certified by the
American Board of Ophthalmology, Dr. Modi is a Fellow of the
Royal College of Surgeons of Canada.
Dr. Modi's clinical approach
is to provide each and every patient with individualized and
personalized education and care so that all patients can achieve
their vision correction goals.
